Jewish Family Service of Metrowest (JFS) provides vital social, health and community services to alleviate suffering, enhance lives and support people in need.
The Mom-to-Mom program at Jewish Family Service of Metrowest is a home-based program for new mothers, providing experienced volunteer “mentor” moms to guide, advocate and educate isolated, depressed moms. The focus of the program is to offer individual support on a consistent basis, with the goal being complete competence with the care of a newborn child.
In a caring and understanding way, experienced mothers provide support and companionship to new moms on a regular basis for a full year. If you or anyone you know recently had a baby and are feeling overwhelmed.
