What are the specific tasks you help with?
We provide non-medical homecare services, including:
Personal Care Bathing with sponge, tub, or shower; toileting; mouthcare; hair, skin and foot care
Homemaking Light laundry and ironing; linen changes; shopping; dusting and vacuuming; bathroom and kitchen cleaning; dish washing; floor mopping
Other Activities Ambulation; dressing; medication reminders; planning and preparing meals in accordance with dietary needs
What if I need help with some tasks, but not with others?
We'll tailor our services to meet your needs, and be responsive to your needs should they change. Jewish Family Service of Metrowest has experienced social workers on staff who are skilled at assessing clients' needs and managing care plans.
Can I afford Homecare?
Some long-term health care policies may cover part of the cost. Special payment arrangements can be made with JFS/MW on a case-by-case basis.
